What it is
Web-grounded search, research, and reasoning as MCP tools: quick cited answers, deep multi-source investigation, and recency-filtered search. It gives research legs live sources instead of training-data guesses.
Why
Training data has a cutoff and no receipts. Research legs that cite live sources can be checked; answers reconstructed from memory can only be believed.
How I use it
Research fan-outs route here — market scans, library comparisons, fact checks — with citations carried into the synthesis. When the server fails, the fallback is named out loud in the next message, never silently swapped.
Get it
Add a Perplexity MCP server with an API key, or substitute any web-grounded search tool your client supports. The practice is cited-retrieval-first for anything factual.
